Thanks Russell,
The configure file has now completed successfully. However, running "make
install" poped out this little bit of fun, prehaps some one can shed some light:
<output>
In file include from ../include/driver.h:66,
from cound.c:23:
/usr/include/linux/modversions.h:2:2: #error Modules should never use
kernel-headers system headers,
/usr/include/linux/modversions.h:2:2 #error but headers from an appropriate
kernal-source
In file include from ../include/driver.h:132,
from sound.c:23:
../include/isapmp.h:329: warning: `struct isapnp_card_id' decleared inside
parmeter list
../include/isapnp.h:329: warning: its scope is only this definition or
declaration, which is probably not what you want.
make[1]: *** [sound.o] Error 1
</output>
This is rather unsettling, mostly because some errors are coming from the isa
pnp crap and I'm not using an ISA card ... I'm using a als4000 PCI card.
Well, any suggestions?
