I am trying to configure a Compaq Deskpro-XL with an ad1847jp sound port.
It also has a Yamaha chip (yyf262-m?).
The configuration utility report the following.
DMA Channel(s):
Channel 1, Not Shared
Timing: ISA Compatible
Transfer Size: 8-bit (byte)
Port Range(s):
0530h - 0537h, Not Shared
0388h, Not Shared
I am trying the snd-card-ad1848 driver with the following paramters:
### update-modules: start processing /etc/modutils/sound
# Sound configuration
options sound traceinit=1
options opl3 io=0x388
options ad1848 io=0x530 dma=1 deskpro_xl=1
options snd-card-ad1848 snd_index=0 snd_id=CompaqSound snd_port=0x530
snd_irq=5 snd_dma1=1 snd_dma1_size=8
I get the following error on startup:

Does anyone have a working configuration they could share.
