Hi!
I have bought a Hoontech Digital-XG (with the YMF 744)
card before easter to connect my PC via TOSLINK to
my Yamaha receiver.
I have tried to use ALSA "0.5" and "0.9.0beta10".
The analog output works without any problems, but the
digital output does not work (the LED of the TOTX is
always on).
How can I enable the S/PDIF out? I have attached the
mixer settings.
I am using Linux 2.4.16.
Is it necessary to use a special software as player
to enable S/PDIF? At the moment I am using xmms or
mpg123.
