Hello, I encounter a pb when recording sound using the OSS compatible library just after starting the alsa driver. When I use wavesurfer the recording only works after hitting the record button madly for a couple of times. Using ossrecord (from oss/commercial) only works the second time. The first time I get an empty (large) wavefile and a short noise on the speaker. After the first recording works, it seems to work stable until I restart the alsa driver.
Is there a possible pb with the oss initialization? I have no such pb using arecord. My specs: alsa-0.9.0rc1 (same pb with older version (beta10) and CVS) midiman delta 66 (ice1712) soundcard kernel 2.4.4 (no smp) Any help is appreciated Regards. Matthias
