Hi, ALSA works now, I can play a sound file with "aplay". Many thanks to the people who helped me :-)
I use alsamixer with the KDE Konsole. It seems to work but it shows some strange displays (See attached file). The "man alsa" says that this is usual with Xterm but it is not a bug (?). I tried some other consoles but it is worst. Is anybody able to advise me ?
