Hello All, This will prlly win the award for stupidest question of the month, but here goes anyway...
I'm going to be installing a Mandrake 8.2 machine in the next day or two, and will be wanting to "upgrade" the Alsa 0.5.10b drivers it has with the latest Alsa drivers (0.9.0rc3). I have an ALS-4000 on that machine, and I know that certain card drivers (including the snd-als4000) did not compile on Mandrake, and required a patch. Will this patch still be required with the latest drivers? (Yes, common sense would tell me tht "no, the patch is not required", but I just wanted to make sure! :-) ) TIA, ===== -- Alan Murrell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ______________________________________________________________________ Post your ad for free now! http://personals.yahoo.ca ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
