yes, that's the version i'm using.

Well, the console beep was just an example. Every sound that kde makes
(like maximizing or minimizing a window, the konsole beep, ...) has this
noise in the end.

In windows and also before I installed alsa (with the default oss
drivers) the sound was coming out ok (with no noise). I just installed
alsa because I want to run some music programs that requires it.
