I freshly updated a messy mandrake 9.0 to 9.1. Now I have Linux version 2.4.21-0.13mdk (gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk))
After installing the driven according to the manual posted on the Alsa-Project website, I finally encountered a problem while attempting to load the modules into the kernel:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] alsa-driver-0.9.3c]# modprobe snd-ymfpci /lib/modules/2.4.21-0.13mdk/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o: unresolved symbol snd_verbose_printk modprobe: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.21-0.13mdk/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o failed modprobe: insmod snd-ymfpci failed [EMAIL PROTECTED] alsa-driver-0.9.3c]#
