Hello,

I've got a DMX 6fire. Output is working fine, but there are some problems
unsolved:
1. I always got a signal on H/W In 8. The level is very high. If I unmute
this channel I hear a very loud frizzling noise. Anyone knows by what this
is caused?
2. Full Duplex seems not to work. If I try to enable this with aRtsd I get
the following error message:
Sound server fatal error:
AudioSubSystem::handleIO: write failed
len = 2728, can_write = 2730, errno = 17 (File exists)
3. I cannot access the mixer of the DMX 6fire through /dev/mixer.

System specs:

Suse 8.2
2 Soundcards:
/dev/dsp0 = Terratec DMX 6 fire 24/96
/dev/dsp1 = CMI8738 6ch-MX (onboard) (Works properly)
artsd 1.1.3
alsa-0.9.6 (artsd is set to output sound through alsa)

Is the default ice1712 modules.conf on the alsa homepage working properly?
Mine is different. What has the .asoundrc to like?

TIA Volker
