here is the problem.
perhaps it's a bug of config file.
please try to change the line "device 1" to "device 2"
of the definition of iec958 in /usr/share/alsa/cards/NFORCE.conf:
NFORCE.pcm.iec958.0 {
.... snip ...
slave.pcm {
type hw
card $CARD
==> device 1
}
please let me know if it solves the problem.
then i'll fix the cvs tree, too.
