I mean, when I start alsa it lists out that file and then the errors... and if that isn't the module, then where would be the module that alsa compiled(because I did have emerge for the opl3sa2 card)? All ALSA modules start with "snd-". Probably "snd-opl3sa2" is what you need. ciao
