Hi Stuart! I'm not a Guru, so don't put too much trust in my words. If it fails, you're not totally and finally lost. :-) I think together with the alsa-dirver source, therecomes a script: makedefs or something like that. As I remember correctly, it is in the main directory of the source. Just unpack it and browse through it. It looks like your devices weren't built. For that case I think, they included this tiny shell-script. Good luck! Julien
