I am trying - again - to get an Edirol UA-1X audio interface to work with ALSA for Demudi. It had functioned properly previously but I reinstalled the whole OS ... The internal sound device is working properly with ALSA and I found no relevant errors in /var/log/messages. According to /var/log/messages the device is recognized but
# cat /proc/asound/cards only shows the internal sound device Are there any recommended troubleshooting guides for such problems?
