I also heard about something that midi timing can be improved with an
real time clock module [rtc], but i don't know about any details. I will
again search the ML. Maybe you  or someone else can provide some quick
pointers though.

This question came from a user in #alsa. It was about normal
applications like aplay and xmms. I suppose the source of the problem
was the usb setup, but since i don't know nothing about usb [i don't use
it], i was not much of help in this case..

Ok, thanks for the answers :) appreciated. Like Marc Constable i still
want to once again mention the importance of the wiki and would like to
see more integration with the official docs. I could imagine stuff like
providing a wiki link for every official page of documentation, so users
have a quick way of discussing things without the hassle of signing up
to ML's, etc. Or suggestions of additions to flow bck into the official
docs.. Patrick, what do you think about this?
