Ok, found a oss application that aparently can record and doesnt block arecord (audacity), so I see its something application specific (i guess the fopen call you point out). Now, is there a (simple ?) way to make aoss aware of the fopen call ? Especially because it doesnt seem to be that rare (the first two apps I tried used it), and even more because its hard to modify a closed source application like teamspeak to use some different way to open the sound device :/.
