Hi, I have an Awe32 soundcard.
I can compile and load alsa just fine I have tried 0.9.8 and 1.03 . I compile and install driver, libs, oss, and utils I load that modules as per the instructions. (no errors) when i try to run alsamixer i get this: ALSA lib control.c:654:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default where do i begin? im pretty sure that this is one of the non-pnp jumper-able cards. any help ? thanks -- paul ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
