I've installed ALSA according to the instructions here: http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=Cirrus+Logic&card=CS4235&chip=CS4235&module=cs4236
when I try a test with aplay it appears that the sound plays, but I hear nothing. I've doublechecked my physical connections and if the sound card is making noise, I should hear it. Is there a troubleshooting page I can look at? Or is there a way I can positively verify that things are installed correctly and that the sound card is located at the path the ALSA drivers are using? I hope this makes sense, I'm stumped.
