Unfortunately, my recent message never seemed to make it to the list so this version will have to do.
The ALSA driver for the CS4630 contained in the 2.6.6 kernel works well with 5.1 output. However, when upgrading to the ALSA 1.4 or 1.5, I lose the rear channels with its 5.1 output. The ALSA 1.3 driver works properly.
