Sorry, I'm not sure where you would change this - I use a soundcard with
hardware mixing so it's not needed on my system. Maybe you can Google

It's not possible to "fix" flush player because it's a plugin (not an
independent process). The only way would be to start the browser with
aoss wrapper or a equivalent one for the sound daemon (e.g. artsdsp or
essdsp) from the very beginning.
