hi there, i might have an strange question but im still gonna ask : is it possible to route all sound trough my optical spdif connection? i currently have been able to play sound trough it with mplayer :
mplayer -ac hwac3, -ao alsa:device=hw=0.4 -srate 48000 <file> with this i can play almost everything with mplayer but i have a tv-card that is connected to the AUX of the card and i want my tv-viewing program te be able to send sound trough the /dev/sound/dsp so that it will play the sound of my tv-card trough the optical spdif. i have to do this cause i have no other possibility of connectin an cable is there any option for this ? thanks, Vincent van Os ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
