Thanks, this seems to work. I tried alsa 1.0.9 and 1.0.10 from Packman-Repository for Suse Linux 10.0 wtihout success.
Finally, I installed the 1.0.11 package from the factory-build-sources of Suse Linux 10.1 beta, and now everything seems to work fine.
