Since the Faq-o-matic is down at the moment, I couldn't see if this has been done or not. Can anyone add a section to it titled to the effect of "Tested Tape Changers", where people can submit: Tapechanger - Brand and model OS/Hardware platform Amanda Version Additional tool needed to work (mtx, chio, etc.) Modified scripts on it's setup (amanda.conf, chg-mtx, etc.) I know that dumping out $5000 - $50,000 on a tape drive that "should work" is a feat of sheer stupidity, from a management standpoint, and this would give the new additions to the community some semi-concrete evidence on what will work.
