config amanda to backup to holding disk instead of tape changer

Do you know if it is possible to have Amanda backup to the holding disk instead of to 
tape? The reason is that my tape drive will arrive in two weeks, but my professor 
would like Amanda to be installed on the pc and backing up to the holding disk in the 
meantime. When the tape drive arrives, then I can dump the contents of the holding 
disk to tape. Thanks.
