If there's no tape, amanda will leave as many images as possible on the
holding disk.  When the tape drive arrives, you can 'amflush' them to
tape.  If you're starting out this way, you'll need to:

1) Have a holding disk big enough to hold one full backup of every
disklist entry, as well as incrementals.

2) Set the "reserve" parameter (how much of the holding disk amanda
reserves for incremental dumps) low enough to have the space required by
the fulls of step 1.
