Well, at least I would like to see an option to choose from, manual load or
changer load. I for one, have my backup device at remote location. I
usually can't find anyone to mount the tape for me, so using a changer is a
must. I understand I can issue mtx command when 'amrecover' asks for tape,
but I just think it would be so much easier if 'amrecover' comes with that
feature. Like John Dalbec said, it shouldn't be that hard to implement such
feature since Amanda use a glue script to control the changer. Simply
issuing a command to 'amtape' would do the trick. Perhaps we can send a
request to amanda-hackers or some volunteer would like to modify amrecover
code for us? :)

regards,
Mark
