Hi, I can't seem to get amrecover to restore any files. I've just installed amanda, and just backed up files for a few days to get something on the tapes. Now I'm trying a restore-test, and it's not exactly successful. Any hints?

[Y/n]: y EOF, check amidxtaped.debug file on ns1. amrecover: short block 0 bytes UNKNOWN file amrecover: Can't read file header extract_list - child returned non-zero status: 1 ---- I found a entry about this in the Amanda Faq-O-Matic, indicating that I should rewind the tape first. I've done this and tested again, but the result is the same. (Yes, it's the correct tape in the drive ;).) This is a Seagate Scorpion 40 tapedrive. Both ns1 and ns2 are Redhat 7.1 systems. -- Odd Rune
