Do disklist entries other than this new one backup correctly during the same amdump run? Are those 30 tapes labeled with the amlabel command? Are they labeled with a string that matches that specified in amanda.conf? How many of those 30 have been used at least once by amanda? What is your tapecycle value? Is it greater than 30?
