I've been following this thread with interest as I'm about to embark on a similar quest, backing up a windows xp 64bits client which has copious amount of data... Reading from this thread and from the zmanda wiki: Is it true that the zmanda windows *client* requires that the amanda user on the *server* side *must* be named `amandabackup'???
