Hi, I am reaching out to you, if you could help after exploring every possibility (i.e. every combination of dumpcycle, runspercycle & tapecycle parameters) & unable to make tape rotation work in Amanda.
For example using the following command: amserverconfig DailySet1 --template harddisk --tapedev /data1/amanda/vtape/DailySet1 --mailto root@localhost --dumpcycle 1week --runspercycle 5 --tapecycle 12 --runtapes 1 Every time to make backup happen, I have to create New DLE (& vTape set) and at the end it gives a message: driver: Taper error: "No acceptable volumes found". It is difficult to modify the cron job each time since there are many backups running. Also attaching an amanda.conf file for your reference.
