Not sure about that, but you may be able to simply drop in the new 2.3.3 'amavisd' (after making a backup copy of existing amavisd). The only two issues I had were: 1) had to upgrade Compress::Zlib version to >= 1.35 2) had to explicitly set $myhostname in amavisd.conf.
