I can understand the package maintainers philosophy, but I still hate it. IMHO it will cause no end of confusion to users (new and old alike). http://www200.pair.com/mecham/spam/debian-amavisd-new_2.3.3.html They didn't even include @local_domains_maps or $max_servers in any of the config files, leaving it up to users to figure out they need those settings.
