OK, I'm officially an ass. I forgot I run a script once an hour to learn spam and ham from the webmail users' Spam and Ham folders. In that script, I'ver used "/etc/init.d/amavis restart". And from your mail, I see I should use "/etc/init.d/amavis reload".
