I think you need to explain this more, running them with 1.5M? them is postfix? amavis?
I am running postfix and amavis, and recently switched to policyd, normally have anywhere between 200-600 postfix smtpd sessions open at any given time, with 40 amavis children running. Memory usage stays pretty consistant, except when some new virus/spam/dictionary attack happens, then it uses around 1gig of extra memory till it's over. Memory usage stays pretty consistant around 4gigs. I have looked at trimming smtpd down so it didn't use so much, but figured it would be a real pain to do, and well, memory isn't that hard to install. Quoting Joshua <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Are their any known memory issues with amavis-new-2.5.2 I have servers > running postfix + policyd + amavis. Wwe have them running with 1.5M of > memory about every seven days we have to reboot because they run out of > memory we can start and stop amavis and we gain memory but as soon as we > start it again it consumes it.
