Assuming that it only does 'sa-learn --sync' and not expiration, I don't see a need for such cron entry, I'd drop it and perhaps adjust bayes_journal_max_size (in local.cf) if necessary. Redirecting output from a command to /dev/null or to some file would probably avoid the mail from cron.
