Resolution: Fixed
I think the separation is finished. A few drawbacks however:
• The current Checkstyle configuration file cannot be reused by multiple
projects, causing duplication of this file. It cannot be reused as the config
of the plugin must point to a physical location on disk of that file. So in
case you only checkout the cassandra project, this file must be located in that
svn subtree.
• Code duplication of integration tests; ConfigProvider,
IntegrationTestBase classes and for the larger part the pom.xml must be
replicated. Maybe Pax Exam 2.0 facilitates separation between setting up the
test container and running the actual integration tests.
• License is still GPL, must become ASL 2.0
