Reopening as we can now reproduce. I get the same issue when running the tests
on a linux environment. Simply reverting to 2.0.4 increases throughtput from
around 2100 to 7900 and higher on a xeon quad core plain vanilla RHES.

> When measuring the performance of a simple servlet with JMeter, there is a
> significant difference between the performance of the 0.1.1 and 0.2.1
> releases.
> This seems to be caused by the update of the org.apache.felix.http.jetty
> library from 2.0.4 to 2.2.0. When using the old library in the 0.2.1
> releases, the performance is good again.
> With 40 concurrent threads, the 2.0.4 version can handle 4640 req/sec, the
> 2.2.0 version 1080 req/sec.
