Hello Keith, The command to turn off/on the workspace was in a previous version. I think it was taken out recently when the docking tab workspace was introduced (I am not sure as I am new to AB). There must have been a reason for its removal.
The new docking feature appears to have one or two tricks to it (???). I think this is the procedure Tomasz was referring to although I might be wrong as I haven't found any further instructions as yet: 1. user toolbar help help manual version 4.80 contents >(click on) tutorial>user interface>customising interface scroll down to picture of 'built in image editor' etc. 2. custom toolbar image tools > customise > toolbar tab > new opens a new toolbar custom1(it should be alongside your other toolbars - it appears in the toolbar list with the checkbox selected)). tools > customise > command tab > select tools from categories list > select user defined tool from commands list and drag to new toolbar tools > customise > right click over toolbar image to change image etc for new toolbar above instruction sets an image 3. custom toolbar application I can't help you much there. Hopefully someone else will help us out. I think that whatever is selected in tools > customise > tools tab before creating a new toolbar is automatically assigned to the toolbar or if user defined tool 1 is chosen it will assign the first item in the tools > customise > tools list as the command. If that is correct the user needs to write some script/executable code etc to automate the workspace close/open and save it as per the paths listed at tools > customise > tools. This is the script you would assign to the new toolbar. I can't help any further as I ran out of expertise a way back at 'assigning a macro to a toolbar in Microsoft 101'. Brian. P.S (Don't you wish AB would just do it? Maybe I'll thank Tomasz one day for forcing me to learn this stuff). --- In [email protected], Keith McCombs <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Recently someone asked on the AB Feedback Center for a toolbar button to > turn workspace on/off.
