Hello,
The reasons for not entering trade even if there is entry signal are:
1. Insufficient funds (this includes commission - i.e. you need to have funds
not only for trade but also for the commission)
2. Reacing limit of open positions
3. Reaching limit of open positions of given type (MaxLongPos/MaxShortPos)
4. Number of bars since stop less than re-entry delay
5. Requested size less than MinShares/MinPosValue
6. Reaching max trade size % of entry bar volume - in that case trade would be
truncated subject
to other constraints
Note that Round Lot Size constraint may affect also your ability to enter trade.
For example if round lot size is set to 100, and you have only funds for 99
shares,
it won't open 99 shares trade because round lot size won't allow and next
"round" number of shares is zero.
Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko
