Hello,

One more word of explanation for tech-savvy: strictly speaking IQFeed
offers so called COM (ActiveX) API and Socket API. The later is
bit-independent (i.e. it does not matter if you are connecting with
32-bit or 64-bit application). In the past the problem was that in order
to start/initialize the feed you needed to link to/use 32-bit library
supplied with the feed (IQ32.DLL). Now IQConnect can be run as normal
process and the requirement to use 32-bit IQ32.DLL is gone. This opened
up possibility to go 64-bits with sockets. In the past it required some
kind of workaround (launching separate 32 -bit process that would talk
to 32-bit IQ32.DLL).

Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko
