Hello, One more word of explanation for tech-savvy: strictly speaking IQFeed offers so called COM (ActiveX) API and Socket API. The later is bit-independent (i.e. it does not matter if you are connecting with 32-bit or 64-bit application). In the past the problem was that in order to start/initialize the feed you needed to link to/use 32-bit library supplied with the feed (IQ32.DLL). Now IQConnect can be run as normal process and the requirement to use 32-bit IQ32.DLL is gone. This opened up possibility to go 64-bits with sockets. In the past it required some kind of workaround (launching separate 32 -bit process that would talk to 32-bit IQ32.DLL).
