Hi,

I'm new to the Irc (even if I regged amirc a long time ago), and I've a problem
with my network setup:
- I use a linux box with Ip masquerading as a router between my adsl modem and
  my amiga. It's based on a 5.2 redhat with a 2.0.36 kernel.

This stuff works great for http, nntp, dns... A little less good with ftp
(quite slow to receive the dir and to initiate the connection and doesn't work
with every client - for example dopusftp is never able to get the dir)..
And not at all with amirc (any way it is supposed to support irc)...
What it does is endlessly try to connect the server. I checked Amirc without
the linux router, and it's ok it runs nicely (either by modem or with the
ethernet card)...

Does anybody have a suggestion ? (Except remove the linuxbox which I really
can't :( ) (either on the linux box (privately) or on the amiga (in the list))

It would be of great help for me

 Thanks in advance

 Phil
