Have you got MCP or stuff like that running, I found AmIRC to be
unstable with certain settings with MCP on my 060/50 50meg machine and
removing that entirely meant that AmIRC never locked up despite being
running 24/7 (yes, I'm an IRC addict).
Kuang�� was extremely unstable when I installed it, so if you got
that, it might be wise to remove it and see what happens...
The only other thing I can think of if you got those little packages
in Prefs that makes your workbench window gadgets look a little more
pretty, I forgot what it was called, but found that also interferred
with AmIRC's Arexx function according to Snoopie (probly why Kuang
wasn't a happy bugger)....
