I did some snoopin around in some IRCd's struct.h files.
The longest accepted topics i found was 307 chars long. Some ircd's add
about an additional 20 to this by having the server put the channel modes
in the topic. But 307 is the max i have seen on any major IRCd's.
And speaking of the max lenght of the FKey macros... shouldnt they be more
or less open lenght or set to the MAX message lenght the IRCd will accept.
This i havent checked out, but i think most IRCd's have 500 chars or
thereabout as the max chars for a command line.... but im not sure.
I still think we should have a bit more to go on for the FKeys in any case.
