Greetings.
I just returned from the air force base, finding that AmIRC3.1 was released.
Hoping they had managed to fix all the bugs reported i downloaded it only to
find some bugs not yet fixed and they broke my RAW numeric messages parser
plugin.
307 [DreamMaker.UK.EU.VillageIRC.net] >HAMLET< HAMLET :is a registered nick
That was supposed to read
Whois HAMLET is a registered nick
And it also did all the way from 2.x till 3.0, but not in 3.1.
I noticed the following line in the readme file:
- Plugin: added AMIPLUG_Query_Hook_Rawline2 and _NumericMsg2 tags
so i decided to try and recompile my raw numeric parser plugin with
numericmsg2 instead, only
to find that it didnt work either.
So right now, im not able to supress the original raw numeric messages or
parse them to something AmIRC will make more sence off. Someone please
please please fix this, or let me know how to fix it on my end.
Now, some minor comments:
SETUP:
misc messages:
- Still will not allow as long messages as in 2.2
- Still dont support colours.
Action Buttons:
- No support of colour. Would be nice
Lists alias:
- No support of colour.
FKeys:
- No support of colours still
Topic Field:
- Still will not support DAL servers to its full max topic lenght, around
300.
Currently cuts at 255.
Channel Modes:
Ignores modes r and R + all other modes that may be in place like +A (Admin
Only) +O (Oper Only)
etc etc. Yes i know they are not RFC Standard modes. Would be nice if you
could view em still.
Anyways, Keep up the good work.
