Hello Thomas
-> Greets
-> The ml software strips off binary files n stuff. No use =/
-> Anyways. If you want to use the AmIRC IdentD, you will have to select
-> InetD and Services from the Database in Miami and disable auth services on
-> port 113.
-> That should leave the AmIRC IdentD unghosted. But this also means that other
-> applications cannot use IdentD unless AmIRC is running (Assuming that AmIRC
-> handles all IdentD requests while its running) so the best way would be to
-> just change the username under the TCP/IP options in Miami.
-> Yes it will not unghost the IdentD in AmIRC, but it should be changed to
-> whatever you set in TCP/IP.
Thanks to all who gave me help regards the IdentD. I managed to
make the identD gadget to be checked (thus not ghosted) but now
it seems that the identD is not working on amirx3, cause when I
make /whois FantaZY (fantazy being my nick) the username has a
leading ~ in front, as shown here:
User: FantaZY (~[EMAIL PROTECTED])

+---- :-(
marztrax is the username in miami (both in tcp/ip and in all database/inetD
and database/users.) So now, how can I make my username without that ~
since the ban is set on all ~usernames ( ban on *!~*@195.158.120.141)
I appologize for any hassle that I am creating on amirc mailing list.
Stephen / malta
