This is how it works now.. ie since 3.2
It is not how it worked before ie 3.1
In addition the select and change works with colours. ie the same rules
apply. you add control codes before and after text to change the colour.
The way 3.1 works is how it should work. Keyboard shortcuts (ctrl B) are
much faster if all you want to do is insert a bold control code.
