It woulda been Rx crashing. hrmm.  Sounds like a memory trashing problem.

Nah there isnt.
I wrote a script to hit all AmIRC ports that exist to monitor certain
situations and there seems to be no problem here ever running that.
Are you running any of the supposedly newer rexx library's that exist that
have been running around?  easy way to check is to copy file from your
Workbench (preferably Workbench 3.1) to your Libs: directory.. overwrite
any ones that are in there..

Shouldn't be causing any crashes..
