Just noticed that AmIRC 3.2 (reg) was having a problem resuming DCC
transfers. It gets the offer fine, tries to resume, but bumps the file
extension with a .# and then can't append at the proper location of the now
empty new file. I tried receiving from AmIRC, mIRC and PIRCH with the same
results.
Example:
*Got DCC MOVE request from Saraba: filename "PWM.wav", 4727512 bytes.*
*File "PWM.wav" assumed to be of MIME type "audio/x-wav", storing to
"Work:MultiMedia/WAV/".*
*Resuming receive of file "Work:MultiMedia/WAV/PWM.wav.1" from Saraba at position
4669952*
*Receive of file "Work:MultiMedia/WAV/PWM.wav.1" from Saraba aborted (4674048/4727512
bytes).*
In this case it tried to resume PWM.wav, figured out where to start, then
opened PM.wav.1 as it's output file. This of course didn't work at all.
Has anyone else encountered this problem or discovered a fix? I'll post
this to Keystone within the next 48 hours if no solution is known.
