I run Miami 3.0 and in the tcp/ip part of the GUi there is a section
where you can give your console a user name, so to speak to make IDENTD.
If you are already running IDENTD on either Miami or Genesis you are going
to have to disable it from there. AMIRC defaults to the IDENTD that is
currently running and wont allow the change once the program starts from
what i see.
Be warned, most IRC networks now reguire IDENTD (EFnet is one of them) to
stop spoofers, ICMP bombers and nukers, and other wonderful nonsense from
happening. (It was so nice to ride in on a split and take over channel on
there a long time ago...now you cant...)
