Nope, the DCC SEND is sent in a different mode when behind a SOCKS proxy, I
did a check on it - there is 5 distinct values in a DCC SEND request from
mIRC when behind the SOCKS while only 4 are sent in a normal DCC SEND.

As an Example below for (Sender Address Removed...) 

/* Behind the SOCKS Proxy */
NOTICE Whomiga :DCC Send rassilon1.jpg (172.16.0.3)
PRIVMSG Whomiga :\x01DCC SEND rassilon1.jpg 2886729731 0 13215 5428\x01
 
/* Normal DCC Send */
NOTICE Whomiga :DCC Send rassilon1.jpg (38.27.229.87)
PRIVMSG Whomiga :\x01DCC SEND rassilon1.jpg 639362391 1386 13215\x01

As you can see, the SOCKS version sends more info, which creates a Malformed
DCC Send Request (At least from AmIRC's viewpoint)

And this is with mIRC Version 5.7 - Latest version...
