I and many others have had very little MUI related problems, but there are some bugs
in it from what I've heard. IMO MUI is one of the best things the Amiga has got - it
certainly wouldn't be realistic to expect Vaporware to develop their own GUI system.
Perhaps if Stefan Stuntz isn't going to develop MUI any further someone else can
convince him to let them take over?

AmIRC 3.0 seemed very stable to me (In fact I'm pretty sure I never had a crash from
AmIRC 3.0), 3.3 less so, though I've not much trouble with it at all either.

Certainly sounds like you've got something majorly wrong somewhere, but unfortunately
I don't know what it is.
